Leftist Magazines / Newsletters
Note: You can get around the paywalls for many of these by checking Archive.ph or saving articles to a service like Paper2Audio . I get the email newsletters for all of these and save interesting pieces to read or listen to later. I welcome more suggestions!
- The Baffler — My favorite. Great balance of investigation and commentary; in-depth but accessible.
- Dissent Magazine — Shorter articles, mostly U.S.-focused, and well-rounded.
- n+1
- Jacobin — Sometimes a bit too lib for my taste, but accessible.

- Prometheus Magazine — Newer, mostly British, more theory-centered, with a good writing style.
- Monthly Review — Very academic and long, with orthodox Marxist articles, but good.
